Live From New York…

This morning I am on my way to see the Grand Dame of entertaining, Martha Stewart, as she tapes a show on blogging. I have been a Martha fan for years and have a collection of her magazines happily collecting dust on my bookshelf (note to self: Pledge the bookshelves when you get home!).
Well before I was into entertaining, decorating, or managing a home, I was reading Martha. This was a direct influence of my own mother who could easily give Martha a run for her money with her creativity and detail. My own mother is the ultimate hostess. Nonetheless, I am anxious to see Martha live, in-person and to hear what she has to say about blogging (yes, there is The Martha Blog).
While I am thrilled about seeing the Domestic Diva, I’m actually more excited to see some of my blogger friends from Yahoo! Mother Board — Jennifer Wagner of Connect With Your Teens, Julie Pron of Just Precious, and Stacey Ferguson of Mama Law — in real life at the show.
My husband is home watching my The Babe (bless him!) and saying his prayers that I learn a few domestic tips and tricks. God help me!

I hope you guys had fun- and all wore your purple scarves-I was so sad that I had to cancel at the last minute. Hopefully- at some point I will get to meet the amazing mamas in real life- beghind this fabulous blog!!
